Papa Runu caza todo lo que encuentra, no se limita. Cada salida de cacería es diferente, ahora encuentra menos animales, a veces regresa sin nada, a esto se suma el ruido de las motosierras y las carreteras ilegales que se construyen cerca a su comunidad shipibo llamada Nuevo Saposoa, es un problema que se repite en otras comunidades amazónicas.
